Property Renovation

A new home in West Pennant Hills Sydney had a complete landscape and hardscape rebuild. The new home was built high up on the property with large sloping land. We excavated over sixty tons of soil from the rear of the property to provide a flat usable back yard. Treated pine sleeper retaining walls were erected on the perimeter of the property and stained brown. Garden boxes were built and plant out with Australian natives. The rear concrete patio was tiled. Side paths were laid using 100mm thick steel reinforced concrete coloured by CCS (Concrete Colouring System). On the right hand side of the property a Merbau deck was built to use as a passage way from the laundry to the backyard. We built storage space underneath the deck for gardening tools. The grass was all laid using a soft leaf buffalo. At the front of the property a stack stone charcoal retaining wall was built and front yard re-levelled with dirt from the rear of the property to produce a gentle slope. The front driveway was laid after the dirt height was graded for easier car transition from road to garage. The front steps were constructed using concrete, hand rails and glass balustrades installed. Underground retention tank access holes were raised to suit new ground level. A 200mm wide drain runs across the driveway to help control water flow. New pine side fence was built along with side gates. All gardens were mulched and sprinkler systems installed.
